About 2 weeks ago I was running low on gas, so I switched to reserve. I rode home, thinking I would make it to the gas station the next day. Weather was bad, didn't make ride at all then I went out of town for a few days. About a week later I went to start it up, noticed it smelt a little like gas in the garage. Once I started up the bike it sounded really rough. I rode to the gas station and noticed I was slowly leaking gas from the fuel petcock, right where the nob is connected to the rest of the petcock.
Today I started it up and let it run for a few minutes. It sounded a lot better and there was no smell of gas in the garage. Although, when I would blip the throttle, it would die about 1/4 of the time and dip to under 1000 rpms 3/4 of the time.
Any Ideas?
Could this be from letting it sit on res for a week?
It's a 91 kat 600. Checked all the fuel lines and the vacuum line, everything looked good there.
