Paul here. Bought my 2002 750 Katana about 1.5 years ago. Started riding about 8 years ago on a 2001 Honda Shadow (750). What a difference. What a difference. I try to commute on the Kat every day when the whether doesn't make the road dangerous.
Never was really mechanically inclined, but would like to start doing so now. Having problems starting my bike when I don't ride for more than a day (not a battery problem), and recently the idle is acting funny - sometimes it goes passed 2K and just the other day it'll slow down enough to stall during idle (I tested it).
I will explore the site to help me maintain this bike so that I can ride for years on this bike.
