  • New Katana rider, looking to chat in the tech forums

    Hey there,

I've been riding and wrenching for a while, and just got myself a '99 Katana 750 for a steal. It needs some work, so I'm hoping to read and contribute in the tech forums here

2 things I need to do: forks are bent (where can I source some straight ones?), and carbs need to be synced (why are the ports so darn small?). I'll be making a post about these over in the tech forums soon!

    Welcome to KatRiders.
your best bet on finding forks would be E-Bay.

I've been looking for over a month for straight, post, 750 forks. Who knew it'd be so hard! Often I'll see pre forks, or 600 forks (which I know would fit, but I'd rather not have the shorter length...)

Welcome to KatRiders. Parts are always on ebay, craigslist, and boneyards. I know that SportWheels in Jordan MN is good reliable source for these parts.
