I just picked up a GS650G on fleabay, it's a bit ratty but it's an ideal project. I'm no stranger to projects, my pride and joy is my Honda 400four, but it's a bit small to keep up on rides. Riding a 40 year old bike hard isn't a good idea.
What I like about the 650, apart from it's more powerful, is the shaft drive - just like the GS850G I had years ago.
The parts sourcing has begun....new indicators, back light, second hand front mudguard. Needs a seat cover because it's split,
The front break needs bleeding (at least), the rear caliper is a bit seized and needs stripping
I don't think it's far off from an MOT.![023.gif](https://katriders.com/core/images/smilies/023.gif)
