    my number 3 carb flooded and filled up the crankcase with gas my fuel line came off while the bike was running before all this happened does anyone know what happened thanks

      So you're fuel supply was non existent and your engine flooded after? I think what we have here is a failure to communicate. Also, when asking a maintenance question regarding your motorcycle, it's a good idea to mention what motorcycle you have.

        +1 - there are several different katanas.

        Most likely the float on that carb isn't sealing. O-ring went bad, float height is off, junk got stuck there keeping it open...

          sorry its a 1989 1100 I recently pulled the bowls I pulled out the seat and needle the oring on the seat was shot the needle spring inside was jammed wouldn't spring in and out
