  • Hello all

Afternoon everyone I am new to the motorcycle world. A friend told me about katana's and after some research I found a 03 600 with 7k on it for $2,000. I am looking forward to learning as much as I can. Thanx

Welcome to KR and motorcycling. Something I share with every new rider I meet:

Get at least 2000 miles on the clock before you start riding hard. After riding for about 200 miles I thought I had the hang of it, and I most certainly did not. Take riding courses if you can afford it, and listen to those with more experience than you. Don't be afraid to lean, but do mind your braking distances. Keep the rubber parts down.

Also, working on your bike is half the fun of owning one. Check the wiki for a service manual.
