Getting my gear now, but I am looking for a basic rider course. Is there anything other than the MSF course or something to do on top of that for learning to ride?

The MSF is good, experience is best.

Also, we love pics here at KatRiders.

MSF is a great start. Beyond that there are books and (buyer beware) videos on YouTube.

Ask around at your MSF school or motorcycle stealerships about local clubs that put on skills days. There's an Irish club in my area that puts on monthly sessions. It's a good way to gain knowledge from experienced riders who are willing to teach.

Here's a video I've been intending to watch; it probably has some good info:
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

You might also want to try searching for "motorcycle fails" on YouTube. If any of that looks like something you want to try, then don't.
