Hey everyone I've been lurking around on the forums for a week or so and figured I might as well introduce myself and my bike.
I live in Los Angeles CA, but have been many other places as my family's in the military. I'm young, wanted some sort of transportation before I went off to college, and found a deal on a 1994 GSX600 Katana. It only has 8.6k miles and runs great (as far as I can tell so far).

It's my first bike, my dad brought me to a parking lot to learn how to ride it and within minutes I loved it. I'm really trying to stay away from the whole "young and stupid" motorcycle rider clique as I'd rather not die too young.
The previous owner said the carbs need syncing, but of course I've been taking it apart inspecting every last inch, just fixing little things up. So hopefully nothing major pops up.
And yeah, that's pretty much it. I've already been enjoying the many detailed posts and the helpfulness and willingness of the members to help, can't wait to get involved

Have a look for "carbtune" on Ebay to get your carbs sorted.
