Hi folks I am new and have no Kat yet.
I am in the process of acquiring a new bike and have found a 1988 Katana 1100.
Bike looks sharp and that model year had some awesome specs.
I have the usual concerns with a used item but would like some advice on what model specific issues are common.
It will be a huge upgrade over my present GS550 is all goes well.

nothing in particular to look for, just the usual wear and tear items: drivechain, tyres, leaking front forks/back damper, steering bearings, wheel bearings, brakes etc and does the screen go up and down as it should ? other than that you'll just have to try it out see how it feels/goes
