Hey everyone just about to pick up a project 1991 katana 750 from a friend. It's in running condition he says it needs the carbs synced and that it's a little rough. Looking forward to the project thinking of going with a cafe racer type of feel. Hopefully have pictures of it at my house soon!

Welcome to KR, nice looking bike!
if you're going to be working on those carbs yourself, use the search function (upper right) and search for "carbs 101" - its a how to for dis-assembly and cleaning. good luck, have fun with the build!1998 Katana 750

Welcome. Big +1 on carbs 101. Download the pdf version. It's got better photos than the online version.

Welcome nice colour, you need to get some Katana decals on that to finish it off - nice and subtle like

Welcome to KR. I'm not too keen on seeing a Kat as a cafe-racer - I reckon they are a fine style as they are but I certainly agree with Engelskmannen's comments re decals. Good luck with the transformation!I don't know what I want but I know how to get it.
