It runs like a champ! Recently had some problems with leaking gas because of stuck floats but i squashed that in about 20 minutes. going to work on the paint soon.

No plans for stock unless i can get a cheap set of fairings. I got it for 500 though so i cant complain much.

Not too terrible. For that price I'd take a naked 1100, too. Maybe see what could be done with the gauges and the frame to pretty things up...

Either way, for $500 that's a nice bike.

Nice find, you'll get fairings, clocks etc from ebay.co.uk, some stuff on the German site too but more expensive.

                  Good luck, Engelskmannen.

I really just want to clean it up. Take the red off( I've havent enjoyed that since I got it) and I like the speedometer its a nice digital one but it needs a housing. But So far the naked feel is right up my alley and I'm almost reluctant to put plastics back on it.

Then don't. It's your bike and if you're happy with it then that's right. I'd think about building some sort of a cover for the frame to smooth things out and definitely a housing for the gauges.
