Hi all,
Another newby, but this one is a little long in the tooth. I'm 60yo. Back to motorbikes after a 35 yr hiatus. Began at 16 with a Suzuki 80 (looked something like this):

I recently bought a 1990 GSX 1100 Katana with 16K miles which back in the day looked like this:

It doesn't anymore. The tank remains the same (sorta), but the rest is flat black (rattle can). It needs some work, as would any 22yo bike. Anyway, found this site by chance and am eager to read and learn.
