Hey everybody. I bought an 1100 in 1988. First model year. Wonderful bike.
Lived in LA at the time. Rode all over Cali and most of the west and cross country twice. LA to Jacksonville, Fl via Wyoming. 4000 miles 8 days. Only problem I had was with fuses and headlight wiring plugins.
Recently bought a used 1990 1100 that only had 1857 miles and no damage. Bike at shop getting a good going through. Tires, RK gold chain. All hydraulic lines replaced with braided lines. Progressive suspension front fork springs. Vance and Hynes pipe. And new clutch.
