  • A Katana decided to throw up in my garage

Signed up here and been lurking for a while. My story is probably the same as most....Buy a basket case 90 750 and proceed to buy tools and put it back together. To date I bought a morgan carbtune, rebuilt the carbs and yesterday started painting. Still waiting on the carbtune, getting a little worried since I bought it from the UK....Anyway, good forum with lots of info

Here's the beater I bought....I think I did alright for 400 bucks. I synced the carbs with a sewing needle till i get my manometer. Bought a new windscreen and started painting it. Still have to fix the rear master and run it down the road....but I'm getting there.

Welcome to the forum. Bike seems to be in fairly decent shape (at least by looking at the pic, definetly good for $400. There's over $400 in sellable parts on it, so you won't lose money. lol

I've purchased carbtunes several times, ordered on Monday received by Friday. If you have not seen it yet I'd assume it got hung up in the holiday mail.

Welcome. I think my Carbtune took about a week to arrive. It was a couple of years ago, though so the memory might be a little off.

Thanks guys. I got my carbtune today.....Will hook er up this weekend and play a little. Gotta sync these things up and then do an idle drop. I have it set waaay rich right now. I'm a small engine mechanic by trade...so I'm used to one carb per engine I got frustrated in the beginning, but I've a good handle on it now. Should I just buy a used rear master or rebuild mine? Any opinions from the folks that rebuilt theirs?
