Hello all. I have had my 93 Katana since April of 2004.
I was riding my 89 Kawasaki EX500 to work one day when a guy pulls up beside me on a newer Honda. We chat at stoplights and he follows me to work. He tells me that he has a Kat for sale so I stop by his house the next day.
It turns out, he bought it for his girlfriend but she didn't like driving, she just wanted to ride so he was selling it. It had been crashed a couple of times because after his g/f didn't want it, he decided to let friends ride it. The plastic on both sides was pretty bad. The engine was fine in it though, so I picked it up for a very good price.
I am finally getting around to redoing the plastic and tuning up the engine. An internet search brought me here. I look forward to meeting you and thanks in advance for helping me with my bike issues
