I would suggest visiting each section of the forum and reading any of the stickies there that catch your attention. There is a ton of information to be had with just a few clicks and some reading.

    Welcome!

      The most frequent are:
      a) not knowing the settings on the petcock
      b) not knowing the function of the sidestand kill switch
      c) not knowing that the clutch needs to be pulled when attempting to start it
      d) not knowing the proper size tires made for your rims.

      Welcome to KR!

Never really thought about it, but you just summed up at least 50% of the daily posts in a few lines...nice...
90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.

Welcome to KR! Orient yourself with the manual: http://www.metal-fab.net/files/98~02...e%20Manual.pdf

This will give you all of the information you'll need to maintain and service your Kat - or at least know what is involved should you decide to have a stealership do the work.

And here's the average KR answers:

                e) Buy a Busa or a B12 or swap in engines of said bikes.
                f) Because you're the FNG.
                g) Not very easily, Why?

A good sense of humour goes a long way here....as does a Kat's engine.
