  • TypeJ, the newbie says whaddup

Hola everyone. I joined KR recently and am just now introducing myself. I am also new to motorcycling, so I am a newb. Took the MSF course this summer and started shopping for my first bike. I budgeted $4000 for the package; $3000 for the bike and $1000 for gear. Got a well kept (minus the lower fairing parts) 98 Kat with 19K mi. for $2100! Then got a used, but good, never-been-down SPIDI 1-piece leather suit (matches the bike, of course. Later someone told me that new riders always match their gear and bike...guess that's me), Arai helmet (yep, it matches...), gloves and boots. Stayed way under budget.
So now I am learning real-world traffic skills in and around Half Moon Bay, Ca. The weather is still sweet here (tough luck Canada), so I'll ride 'till the sun don't shine no more. So if you see me, throw me the fingers. Thanks, and safe riding to all.
    Press the attack!

Ya, Ranges leathers have the same matching grass stains that his bike does.
