  • Hi! Looks like a great site.

I just found this site, and it looks a good one. This site should keep me occupied and in the riding spirit during the winter months coming up. Hopefully, it will be a mild winter and there will still be some good ride time. Here in Indiana, we never know what we'll end up with. I don't mind riding in the cold, it's the other crap that'll slow me down.

I ride an '05 Katana 600. I've been riding for 3 years now. This is the one and only bike I've ever ridden on my own, outside of the riding class. I'm only 5'1", so it's not like I can hop on just any bike and take off. (There's always the cruisers, but that's not my style.) I had my bike customed lowered to a comfortable, flat-footed 27". Although, I really could stand to go up another 1"-2" inches. It's just a little too low when it comes to speed bumps, driveway curbs, dips, and such. It will scrape every now and then. I'm planning on working with the links over the winter to see if we can add a little more height. I'm open to other suggestions, too.

Looking forward to exchanging some posts with you, and maybe get the opportuntity to go riding with some of you.

    Ride Safe!

                              Howdy Heidi...

If you've been with your Katana for three years I'd say you'd be comfortable enough to go back up in ride height...

Now the real question... How many miles of riding do you have under your belt?

Time for a track day... One way to get to know your Kat more intimately...
