  • Hello from RI

Hello out there from newbie land. I'm Dominic and at 29 (almost 30) I finally decided I'm responsible enough for a bike and just picked up an 02 blue 600 with 13K on it. Here in RI they won't even let you get a permit without taking the state administered 6 hours in the classroom and ten range hours, and they book classes far in advance so I won't be legit until early September. That is all well and good though because the bike is a salvage with some sort of cosmetic damage just about everywhere and I need some time to get it back into respectable shape and then have it gone over by a local shop for a safety and roadworthiness inspection. I also have to procure some gear in that time as well as I don't see myself as one of the helmetless guys in shorts and a Tshirt that seem to be prevalent in my area.

That's all for now folks, hopefully I can contribute in the future.
