Hello everyone I live in Va. and this is my first kat. I have been riding bikes for about 30 years but mostly HD. I took a friends kat out for a ride last year, and well I bought one two weeks later. I have a 2001 kat 600. I have a question. I want to replace my chain and sprockets and I want to go to a 49 on the rear but every site I go to only offers up to a 48. Could someone please recommend a site. Thanks.

welcome. the 48 should be fine. maybe a 14 front sprocket if you really want low gearing.

Hey Rambo, and welcome to the site.....

Is 15-47 your stock sprocket tooth counts? Have you also considered reducing your front sprocket tooth count by one?

                Have you tried Sprocketcentre.com ?
