New KAT owner and first time rider!

Wanted to introduce myself. I just today purchased my first bike, a 93 750 Katana. Yeah, it's an older one but I didn't want to spend a ton on my first and have something terrible happen to it.

Anyway, wanted to drop a line and look forward to learning a ton on here.

Thanks. Been looking at a few others, mostly cruisers but this one really stood out to me. And the price was perfect. I haven't even got on it yet...I am being super precautions until I am comfortable getting on and going.

Did you try any rider courses? Even seasoned riders benefit from those courses.

I am going to take one next week starting Thursday. It's a 4 day course here locally at the Harley shop. That's first on the list.
