Hello, my names Seth, I'm new here. I dont currently own a bike, in the prosess of trying to sell a truck so I can buy one from a co-worker. She has a 96' 600 katana. just figured I'd do some homework before the chash was exchanged for the bike. anything I should beware of or look out for would be appreciated.

Currently I work for an Ambulance service in Marietta Ohio as an EMT-Basic. hope to get to know a few of you in the future maybe.

How many miles are on the kat and does she ride it often? The first things to check would be tires, chain, and sprocket. If she's not running it often it will probably need a carb cleaning.

      Any leaks anywhere?
      Currently in the driveway:

      02 Ducati 748 Monoposto: Yellow & White
99 Suzuki Katana 600: Red (Sold to brother but holding at the house)

I did ride it, it shifted smoothly, engine sounded smooth also, no knocks or pings. sounds like its been serviced recently, the guy she bought it from looked it over to make it run well for her I guess.
