  • G'day!

I've been lurking for a few months since I picked up an 88 1100 off my buddy for a song of a 1,000$. It had a bit of work done to it when I got it like bigger cams, k&n's and a rejet, along with a semi strip/fighter setup, and flat black paint.

I put a new clutch in it finished getting rid of the fairing's and built an electronics box under the seat tucked all the wiring/ecu under there and a fancy new battery. I also made some new brackets to hold a ducati monster tail-light and tossed on some fancy led turns. I just got a full d&d 4-1 for cheap off ebay and tossed it on today. Tomorrow I'll pull it off header wrap the whole thing and get it back together. I've still got a lot of things to do but it's slowly getting there especially since I bought this to ride till my real project is done. Next winter it'll get the full once over... Heres a few before and after pics.

When I first brought it home:

After a bit of stripping and custom hidden bracketry:

Finally this after with the new d&d 4-1 and a good bath(this one really shows all the **** I hid up under the seat!):
