  • Im a Newbie

Hey guys, I would just like to introduce myself. My name is Joel Jones and I just bought a 2001 Suzuki Katana 750 on thursday. I have not ridden before I bought the bike, but I had already had my endorsement. I absolutely love my bike! Everything looks different on a bike! If anyone has any suggestions or tips or any general faq that I should know, please don't be afraid to let me in on it!

Welcome to KR.. read through the Welcome message that you will recieve in your inbox and dont forget the WIKI. I realised most of my questions have already been asked and answered by searching the WIKI and forum.

Even if you have the endorsement, its always advisable to take the MSF's Motorcycle course.

And dont forget riding gear!! Ride Safe!

welcome. this may seem obvious but shift down when your slowing to a stop. and use your transmission as a brake going down hills ie shift to lower gear
time to nut up or shut up

Whether you ride a harley or sport bike. If you have money to go buy a bike then be smart and buy the gear. Whether its 50 degrees or a 100 degress its ATGATT for me.... But that is just my opinion.
