Hello all,
I joined this site back in 07 when I got my first Kat (93 600) and have visited the site every now and then. In late Dec 08 I sold my Kat and Sv due to a suspended license and $$ reasons. The reason I bought the Katana was that my sv650s (01) was impounded and I need a inexpensive bike to ride around while I got her back. In the end I liked the Kat better, higher top speed and more comfortable (loved the torque on the sv). In Dec 09 I acquired a 00 750 Kat which in my opinion seems way heavier and handles completely different than the 600 but I getting use to her. I have found that my year off the bikes has really affected my riding skills, can't corner as I before. Two months ago I bought a 98 Kat 600 as a project, it had been sitting for about 5 years. Right now the biggest issue I have with her is low pressure on the front brakes and bad front forks. So now I'm back to get as much help and tips from all you KR.
