now about your problem if is cold out your bike will need the choke on to start it in the mornings if it rains or snows same thing, you should only need it when you turn it on in the morning, the warmer it gets out and the more your ride it the less ull need it, i never use it in the summer here in california, but i always need it to start it in the winter.
