  • im new here so here's what i got

I have a 2001 katana 600 has been modified to a streetfighter bought it about 6 months ago. Now im looking to do a engine swap i want it to be a 750 and am really interested what i would have to do to swap. Do i need different carbs, cdi box, sprockets, or really anything they look the same really. I think that there just needs to be different adjustments to the carbs and maybe change of the cdi box i dont really know im a car machanic so im sure with a lil advise i can catch on quick.

Search > Advanced Search > User: ctandc keywords : engine and swap

You'll find my thread. Went from 91 600 to 01 Kat 750 engine swap. DEFINITELY worth the time / investment.

However if you can score a 1127 or Bandit 1200 engine for not too much more $$$ go for it.
