yeah, the hole to the left of the speedo has no knob to turn for the trip odometer....is there some replacement knob I could get somewhere, or would I have to buy the whole gauge assembly?1993 GSX600 Katana => http://rides.webshots.com/album/576565373zGVUIM

damn you! I was just going to welcome the guy to KR and compliment him on a clean looking bike, until you said that. but now I gotta say sumthin', and that is that I see no evidence that tells me it is any less gay in this case than any other. however, I will admit that it is a bit "less gay" because the rest of the bike is done with good taste.
So Adam, welcome to KR. No offense intended on the "gay" comment. I just feel that way about any extended swingarm that is not needed. when I see an extended swingarm, I expect it to be for a reason....as in you gotta have a modified 1127 sitting in that bike. otherwise, it's just "bling".
Great looking bike, aside from that. looks real clean and I love the dual exhaust. the whole thing comes together very nicely, aside from that swingarm. me thinks it would look a whole lot nicer if you cut a couple of links outta that chain and pushed that rear wheel up near where it is supposed to be.....and your handling will improve along with it.
no offense....just being honest with my opinion.
if your curious, just slide it up there to take a pic and make a poll on which looks better. if anything, you will get an honest idea on what the "general population" thinks...if you care about those things.Last edited by Mojoe; 02-01-2010, 08:44 PM.I don't have a short temper. alright fellas, I went by the gas station the day I bought the bike, and filled up the tank...well, now I can't get the gas lid back open; I can turn it about a quarter turn clockwise, then it won't turn anymore...is there a trick I missing when trying to open it; I feel like this is a dumb question, but I don't remember having any trouble with it when filling up1993 GSX600 Katana => http://rides.webshots.com/album/576565373zGVUIM
