Hi All!
I'm honored to be among a great group of motorcyclists. As a former Katana owner, I can relate to the pride you all feel in owning a fine piece of technology that really doesn't get the credit it deserves. I used to own a 2000 Kat 600. I'm having trouble finding pictures of it now, but it had a Stage 1 Dynojet jet kit, K & N filter, a FULL Yoshimura RS3 system...let's just say the thing ran like a steroid-fed greyhound.
At one time I owned both the Katana, as well as a 2001 Aprilia RSV1000 Mille. After a violent highside on the Mille, I sold the Katana to help fund the repairs to the Mille. I know...how does a guy have those 2 bikes in his garage? I love motorcycles...ALL motorcycles. The Mille satisfies me in one way. The Kat satisfied me in another.
I've added some pics of me on the Aprilia. Thanks for letting me in your community. Long live the Katana!
