So if My tank is off and I just want to use a gas proof bottle to get it started, Would I just hook up a hose to a tee and then hook up those two hoses to the tees on top of the carbs? Just to hear it run, not to ride of course. Are all the other 4 lines just for venting or something?

I just put my 97 750 together last night.
The small line that comes off the side of the #4 carb goes to the single connection coming off the back of the petcock, the two line that come off the bottoms of the carb and face each other over the #1 carb(left side if in the riding position) are your fuel lines, any others are vents. Good Luck

No, you should hook the hoses to the tees on the bottom of the carbs.

You can actually ride around this way, although it's certainly not recommended. When the fuel pump on my Shadow died, I bypassed the pump and hung a quart of gas in a bottle around my neck, and drove it home

I will be bending some ears here and there until I get it on the road. Everything is primered or almost primered. I could use a nice pic of the fuel hose routing from the tank to the carbs. Already begging, sorry. Thanks in advance, Todd
welcome dude, i grew up in Lewisburg. i'm living in dayton now but if your up for a ride this summer/fall hit me up.

If your having problems getting it running, take it up to Thazkat. He's about an hour north of us, he's the one building my bike.
I've seen a bike with fur on it in Fairborn by the base all the time when I used to live there a few years back.
