    New to KR, am rebuilding a wrecked '06 600

    I recently purchased an '06 600 Katana that was laid down and the rider severely injured. I'm going to rebuild the bike and it will be a project for the next few months. I live in Jacksonville, Florida and am a former Suzuki mechanic back in the 70's and 80's, so working on the Kat should be no problem at all.

    I also ride a Suzuki Intruder 1500 and a Kawasaki ZZR 1200 and am looking forward to having the 600 up and running!

              You'll find working on the motor oddly similar to the old Kats and GS's...

                            Thanks so much for the responses! I'm in the process of troubleshooting the electrics since the entire instrument console is gone and the rh handlebar switch is also smashed. I'd like to hear her fire up before taking any further steps. I appreciate all the well wishes and am looking forward to working on this bike.
