88 GSXF tail light issue

Thanks for the warm welcome KR's.
I live in Tauranga, North Island and I am 2 hours away from Auckland.

I have only had the bike for about 1yr.

It was my dads bike before he pasted away but it really was not ridden sence 2000.

Now I have been slowly finding and fixing little prob's.

Starting to ride and handle great now.

Have found the tail light to be very dull and now I have no tail light but brake lights work and the bulb filaments are fine, fuses are fine.
Any ideas?

Yes there is alot of fantastic reading and knowledge here, just passed the web site onto my brother in law. He rides a Canadian 750 Kat, there was a deal done to bring a few into NZ. took one for a test ride and it feels good just hated the M/h instead of Km/h.
