Hello and great site! I normally hang out on the Hayabusa sites or racing forums but I purchased a 1991 Katana last week to practice with (drag strip) since my Hayabusa just hit 6,000 miles and they have all been at the track nearly, lol. It is supposed to have a GSX-R 750 (1991) motor also. I have not ran the numbers yet to verify. It is strectched around ten inches, 2-step, strapped, etc... It also runs 6.70s in the 1/8th mile. That is not bad for a supposed stock motor. I know these are not the lightest bikes either. This bike is not far from my busa in weight, lol. It does have a shinko slick on it so street riding is out of the equation. I plan on running it at the track soon once I get a chance to go through the bike .

welcome, sounds cool but
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.RIP Marc

Sure will! I have been every weekend that it has been open since returning from Iraq in Nov. Do you go alot? I am sure that you have seen me there then. I have the Hayabusa in my avatar. It has a transformer sticker on the windscreen. Hope to see you there. I will get pics up soon. I just primered the bike so it is not very impressive looking. The previous owner used it for bracket racing.1991 KAT....... Extended swing Arm, Pipe, Shinko slick , strap, 45T, 2-Step, 750cc 7.1@97 1/8th mile
