I have a 91 katana 600. I rode it for a couple years (It was my first vehicle) and then I had a close call and some mechanical problems, and no real mechanical aptitude or spare cash, so i just let it sit and rot in a garage for a couple years. I finally got around to getting it in to a mechanic, and it had pretty much everything wrong with it. But, I figured, if I spend a grand and get a running bike, that's better than having to get rid of a piece of scrap. I think I'm ready to ride again, and this is as good a place to start as any. Cheers to everyone on the site.

Welcome and get that bike running!

Good choice in keeping the bike. I know way too many people that have given up on riding after only a couple years.
