Hi from San Jose, California, USA
I have a 2004 Katana 600 which I use for commuting and getting around town. It is blue and white. I bought it with 4,500 miles and now it has 14,000 miles. My first bike was a Honda SL90 back in the 1970's. I have always had a motorcycle license (since 16), but started riding on the street last year. I started with a 1991 Katana 600 and rebuilt the top end (I sold it about 2 months ago). The previous seller thought it just needed a tune-up (I wish). I'm now working on repairing a 1990 Katana with 600 miles and a 2003 Katana 600 (also blue and white). The previous owner of the 2003 had a collision with a mini-van at 30 mph and lost. He actually didn't break any bones, but totalled the bike.
We even owned a 1989 GSX1100F for a while - that was one heavy bike! I did a custom paint job on it and sold it within 6 months. I was unable to pick it up by myself when I dropped it. That was a lesson for me.
I'm now looking for a set of forks for the 2003 Katana 600. I looked on Ebay and Craigslist for a set of forks with no results. Does anyone know the years of compatibility and where I can find them for a reasonable price?
Thank you and enjoy the ride,
Nelsonind
