  • Hi from HOT Fresno, Ca

Hello everyone.... I've been loving all the info on the site! I just bought a used 2004 yellow 600 Kat from someone at work. It had a few scratches on the fairing, nothing major. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It's my first motorcycle, although I took the the MSF basic course. I already installed ivan's jet kit, and a timing advancer, and did an oil change. Now I'm trying to figure out what my next upgrade should be. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Matt

    Hi Matt,

    Welcome to KR!!

Upgrades and mods are a matter of personal choice, They could be suspension mods, tires, engine mods, or body mods.

Take a look around and I am sure you will find others with mods that you would like to see on your bike.

Welcome to KatRiders. Just take your time with the mods. There are enough upgrades and tricks to keep you busy for quite a while. You are only really limited by the size of your budget. If you have read many of the posts you will understand that most of us are addicted to our bikes. Good luck with yours.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

I'm already starting to get addicted, haha. Well my friend used to be a Katana rider and recommended it to me, he bought an R1 about a year ago. But now he's thinking of selling it and buying another Katana cause he misses his old Kat so much!
