hey all, always been a suzuki fan but never had one before. i purchased a 89 gsxr 750 that, from the grapevine, was a racing bike in its day.

it came with a half built bike, spare engine, carbs, bins of nuts/bolts and lots of other spare parts...

i had been browsing the net finding the small amounts of info i needed until here. i have it all put together, wired correctly, and turning over. no spark...

i need to get spark plug cables, so i will break down and get the coils and cables this week as they are bundled. i am quite sure it is not the coils that are bad...

its the cdi box as i can tell... im having problems finding reliable information on which model or part to go with as the original part has been discontinued.

orginal part 32900-17c00 has been superceeded by 32900-19C20 though
i cannot find --budget-- price on these. neone know a cheap route or a way to test these?
    1989 gsxr 750 ... work in progress
