Hi everyone. I'm 25. I'm new to this forum, and also to riding altogether. I just got my permit last week and just bought my bike a couple of days ago: 2003 Katana 600. Today is day two of practicing in my driveway and on the local roads, and it's going pretty well. Taking the MSF three-day course in July before getting my license. So far I love riding it though!

cool yeah enjoy that class i took it.... (i was 15... LOL) and it tough me a TON.... its really good class to learn all the basics and made me feel a million times more confident on a bike..... OH and u get a cool patch and sticker when your done... LOL.
WEAR your gear and watch out for chicks talkin on the phone in there SUV's changin lanes without looking.....

Thank you all. I do plan to take it slowly. I want to feel comfortable and confident on the bike, not just be able to ride it. And I have heard great things about that class, too. Hopefully this site will become like a second home for me. I like what I've been reading so far!Comment
