Meine Deutsch ist sehr, sehr schlecht. Ich habe arbeitetet im Frankfurt drei monaten (im 2000), jedoch uns habe Englisch gesprochen im der Firma... Das schwedische Wortschatz und Grammatik ist ziemlich nahe das deutsche, damit Ich kann eine bische schriftlicher Deutsch verstehen...

and that took a lot of time to write... So now you get an idea of what you're dealing with I think we can safely say that your english is better.

Min tyska är mycket, mycket dålig. Jag har arbetat i Frankfurt under tre månader (år 2000), dock språkade vi engelska i firman. Den svenska vokabulären och grammatiken är rimligt nära den tyska, därför kan jag förstå lite grand skriftlig tyska..."...

That's swedish, using synonyms that are close to the german words I used... Try to prounounce it like you prounounce German, it shouldn't be far off - you'll notice the similarities of the words even if they seem a bit off in writing (sprechen, språka; verstehen, förstå, etc. ). (then record it on the computer and post it here )

I can't speak german like that though, I have to think too much to find the words. And don't ask me to understand somebody speaking phrases longer than three words...

ok, so i cheated and used a translator I took german when I was in 12th grade but only for 6 weeks. was bored with the class cause my teacher went very slow. i only went to class on the days we had tests and still passed the class with an A. I've always wanted to come to Germany and am hopefully coming over there in the next year or two for vacation.
