pre98 center stand

bought a '97 katana with 6k miles very comfortable bike and I use it daily to get to work (80 miles). paid $2500 for it and did carb cleaning myself. It runs like a champ I'm planning to put 50,000 highway miles on this bike.
will 98+ 600 or 750 center stand fit my '97 600 katana. I did some search couldn't find the answer.

don't know for sure, but I'm thinking no... You can use a pre-750 or pre-600 stand interchangeably, though.

No, the 98+ center stands mount differently and are sprung differently.
