02 600, my first bike

I was looking for something a little smaller, but this seemed like a good deal and I liked how it looked, its a 02 with 3400 miles, I paid $3000 is that a good deal or no? Has a few scuffs, I guess the guys buddy left it on his steep driveway in neutral. luckily one is only the katana decal (any place to get those?), and maybe the gearcase cover (not sure if thats what it is or not), and one of the handlebar ends plus whats good for cleaning the metal area near the key?

Very good deal

I bought my 2003 just 3 months ago and it was just under $4000 with tax and title so I'd say you did good. Mine had 12,000 miles on it. Your tires and brakes should be in great shape but if it has been sitting around a long time without being ran you may have some crud built up in your carbs - mine did.

Mine is a 98 600... paid 2k for it... and yea, it's a little scuffed and only has 5k miles... Also, this is my first bike and i've been riding for less than a week
