Hello everyone, I'm a 94 Kat 600 owner who bought the Kat as his first bike in 05 when I got back from Iraq. Excellent starter bike although heavier than most, it was a learning experience. I have experienced the second gear issue and have the engine pulled and sitting beside the frame of the bike, but I do not have a manual at this time and have a used gear set to put in. I'm just sitting at a dead point at getting the pack broken and the gears replaced. Does anyone have a walkthrough atleast from the point I'm at or is anyone close in the PA, OH, WV, VA area that could help me out with it. F1 slipon dual exhaust, this bike sounded so good and it is definitely in the need to be fixed and customized even more. Nice to meet you all again. CyberPoet-all the trannys you guys around here have worked on, does noone have a walkthru of any kind? Haha thanks.

I can't help you with that stuff. I think if you post the problem that you are having in the mechanical thread, more of the gear heads will read it. They don't always check here in the Introductions. There is a whole manual that you can download somewhere on here also, just do a search for it. Welcome again and I hope we can help you get your Kat running again.
