Hey I just found this site a couple of weeks ago. I live in East TN. I have an 88 katana 600 with the old 2nd gear problem. I parked it back in 98 and have missed riding ever since, but recently I ran into a deal on a 97 katana 600 and could not pass it up. It has some road rash on it, so I am going to take the parts I need from it and fix my 88. I think I am going to try some custom body work on it before I put it back on the road.
