Hello all I have just come across your site and I was wondering if anone has had a problem with a knocking sound that seams to be cominng from front sprocket or gear box. It is worst at 3500 in 2nd but also here it in 3rd at dirrfent rpm,s I have the chain at correct tension. The gsx750f has over 100 000 km,s on the clock so i hope it is not terminal.

Thaks I have just looked at that and I it does not look like it has hit it there is no marks on the stand but ave checked the chain again

Remember that chain tension is not the only thing to look out for. Look to see it isn't stretched out. Also check your sprockets. Could be the sound is the chain clicking over bad sprockets or a stretched chain.
