I ride a Big Ruckus (does 80mph w/2 onboard; gets 70mpg as
long as I stay under 65mph); live in Pittsburgh;
and use the name, Katman on the totalrukus.com forum.
When researching some info for a friend came
on to your site. Here's a few photos of my highly modified
ride; did all the mods, myself:
First the name plate:

It's stock, 400 watt alternator (most bikes have less than 200 watt alternators in them) drives a dual battery charging system;
which operates the lighting and sound package.
The lighting sys. has an HID driving lamp from Hella (I converted the Halogen fixture that is the Compact 4000 model), a pair of PIAA 1400 Fog lamps, and also has a Hella Micro HID light on the right side, now (not shown). Rear lights consist of; stock tail light, 6" oval stop and marker light (LED) from Federal Signal (a commercial truck lighting manufacturer), and Hyper-lites auxillary brake and turn signals (shown above the front turn signals). The small lights on either side of the center driving light are turning lamps are PIAA 002 Halogen (35 watts) that come on with the turn signal on either side. On the front forks are PIAA Turbo 002 LED lights which have 3 white and 1 blue very bright LEDs. The two headlights on the bottom are stock 55-60 watt H4 lights. Hidden between the headlights is an old Police model horn from Bosch (very loud) the stock horn is much smaller; but when combined with the Bosch horn scares the hell out of wayward cage drivers.
Foot switches select the auxillary lighting system. I also have a seperate
heel operated switch which will enventually operate rear facing horn set and strobe light for tail gaters, etc.:

I made the luggage rack from a motorboat's diving platform. It's
made of 7/8" stainless steel tubing. Note the slanted item in the
tail box; it's the rear speaker system:
This photo is an old one; taken as I started modifying it:

The rear speakers and amp are packaged neatly in the open tail
trunk. They are from, Poly Planar a motorboat audio equipment
manufacturer:

I recently moved the speakers to the sides of the cargo pak that
holds gloves, etc.; the clip is for my bluetooth phone and had a
shoe maker sew up the straps that have clips to secure it in place.
I used peices of inner tube to protect the frame and
stainless hose straps to mount the speakers. The front
speakers have a seperate amplifier; also, from Poly Planar:

The dual battery charging system and aux. battery sit on the floor. The
cargo pak is now in front of the battery box. I'm having a "skirt" made
by a seamstress to hide the battery box and cargo pak.
All wires are marine grade 10 ga. (40 amp capacity) and all connections
are soldered. All the accessories are operated via a control relay that
comes on with the ignition key.
