Hello all just joined Great site. Im a old rider rode in 1967 and havent ridden in years, taking the MSF class to get off some of the rust! Its comming back to me. Im a semi disabled Vietnam Veteran so my bikes are budget units. I have a 1990 Kaw EX 500 I brought back from the dead! Its running great now I recently found a 1990 Katana 600 for $300 Bucks I couldnt pass up it needs some work but hey my labors cheap! Well my friend sees it and wants to buy it. NOWAY! so I find him one o craigs list 1989 basicly the same bike. we are trying to get them running both are at my house misery loves company! so we switch parts etc trying to get one of them running! no luck so far. But with older bike you gotta expect this ! Both will turn over but neither I will get spark! so we are stumped but Im reading all the FAQ to try to get some ideas. I do have a work shop manual buts its kinda sketchy on troble shooting. but we will stick to it untill we get them fired Up! Or die trying!!! Ha ha
