I've been lurking for a couple weeks now (riding off and on for 10 yrs or so)... thought I would add to the intros. I copied my story (below) from my post in the "why did you buy a kat thread"...
"I just picked mine up from a friend yesterday. I never really liked Katanas, always been more of a GSX-R guy myself.
My friend had a 99 Kat 600 that he hadn't riden in a year. I haven't owned a bike since 2004. I told him to sell it to me for $300... he said $500 and you can have it tonight.
$500... that's why I bought a Katana. Very Happy So far I'm very pleased. I enjoy it more than I suspected I would. It has a few nice creature comforts that I'm certainly not used too. The only thing I really miss from my Gixxers is the extra 400cc.
