After installing 1100 downpipes on a 750f engine dont run idle. I tried all ranges pilot jet, from 40 till 50. I found that the transition is still important even idle dont work. At the moment i have a 42.5 pilot jet. When i go up to the 50 PJ engine shows signs of stalling at transition. How do i get enoug fuel to the pilot jet? Does anybody have for instance, experienced the same behaviour. Can this be solved running the carb without the rubber plug that closes up the pilot jet? Kind regards. JW

Just changing the downpipes will have little affect on the carb tuning.
I have modified exhaust, different air filter and I've not touched my pilot jet.
However, I've changed the main jet to 107.5 and continue to tune - my 95 750F came stock with 105 mains on the outside carbs and 110 mains on the inside carbs. Since it's not in the stock frame, I don't need the different mains anymore.

Do not remove that rubber plug. it's very important.

First, remove the jet holder and clean, clean, clean...

You have other issues and you need to tune your carbs just like this...
