I just picked up a Kat from a friend that did not use it much, its a 01 with 4K miles on it, Yellow, so I am gonna put it to good use.

I have owned bikes before, but that was over 15 years ago, so I am taking the safety course to refresh my mind. I went on some back roads today, and even though I am rusty, I had an absolute blast. This thing has more power than anything I remember with a lot more displacement back then. But I am a big guy (6-1, 220 lbs) and it does seem to struggle a bit, especially after riding on my friend's BMW 1200.

I know this is a small bike, but it is a good re-sarter. My wife will probably inherit it when I am ready for something with a little more power.

Anyway, glad that I found this forum, already found some very ineresting info and look forward to more.

    Cheers

    Edward

It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride.
