Special Jr- I didn't know you were on here too! It sure don't look the same as the day I picked it up.
GixerKat- I take it you know about that sticker on the front fender. You have one too? Yeah, I hate having to have it on there. We have tried sticking to the bottom of the windshield, but they threw a fit at the gate.

I made two brackets that fit my brake calipers and used an old piece of windscreen to put the stickers on. On the Gix, I used a piece of stainless and bolted it onto the left fairing inside piece. I haven't had any complaints about either. I think the plate down on the fork tube would probably work for your gateguards!! If you would like, I might be able to get BearKat to post a pic of it so you can see the mounts
